There is more to New York than just Manhattan, there’s also Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island (sometimes I forget about this one). If you ask any tourist, they’ll probably share that the only other place they’ve been to is JFK in Queens which, in my very biased opinion, is the true gem of NY.
Aiming to look beyond blinding billboards and concrete jungles to showcase the diverse neighborhoods and cultures that make up the city, New York City has introduced the New York City Borough Pass. The new borough pass will unlock the many wonders of New York City for tourists, taking visitors to places they may not have thought to explore before.
From the trendy streets of Williamsburg in Brooklyn to the bustling markets of Jackson Heights in Queens, and the iconic Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, the borough pass will unlock a wealth of experiences giving a new perspective on life outside of the Big Apple.
How much is the borough pass?
The borough passes are available for purchase with a range of options, including 1-, 3-, 7-, or 90-day durations, and prices ranging from $35 to $102. The passes must be used within one year of the purchase date.
How does the pass work?
Once purchased, travelers can use the pass to visit various attractions and neighborhoods in the five boroughs of New York City—Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. The pass also offers admission to attractions, such as museums, galleries, cultural centers, and more, as well as discounts of up to 75% off at select establishments.
