Delta bumps its credit card bonuses sky-high.

The head honchos at Delta appear to have read my recent SkyMiles criticism. They responded by offering some solid increased bonuses on its credit cards and a tidy discount on award flights. That’s the power I exert here at Smart Points.

The airline has increased the intro bonuses on every one of its co-branded cards, with the highest figure tacking up a whopping 100,000 bonus Skymiles. Of course, each card is different and geared at unique customers, so before you dive in at the deep end, consider which card is right for you.

All Delta’s co-branded cards and their new bonuses (all offers end on March 29th, 2023)

15% percent off award flights

To sweeten the pot, Delta also introduced a new perk for its cardholders – 15% off award flights. It’s pretty simple: if you own one of these cards, you can take 15% off the points total for any Delta flights booked on its platform. It doesn’t apply to partner airlines or Miles and Cash rates, but it’s still a good deal. Both current and new cardholders can access this perk.

Delta has a dynamic awards chart, and some of its rates can be astronomically high, so the discount and a huge points injection are a big deal if you enjoy flying with the airline. Don’t forget to check Virgin Atlantic for Delta flights first.
