Yet another luxury brand is stepping into the world of hotels, as Elle magazine opens its first property in Paris. The fashion magazine has been one of the world’s most popular publications for years and has developed the hotel to match its ethos.
The hotel, Maison Elle, is found just a short distance from the Arc de Triomphe in the 17th Arrondissement and features 25 rooms. The small number of accommodations fits the boutique direction that so many big-brand hotels are leaning.
According to the website, all guests will be allowed access to a changing room on arrival if their room isn’t ready yet, allowing them to get straight out into Paris, looking great and feeling fresh. It features a shower, a steamer, and some basic toiletries.
For any boyfriends and partners tagging along on a stay, don’t fret. While it is very much an Elle hotel, the connection will be felt in the design as opposed to walk-in fashion tutorials. As a man, I’m seriously impressed by the decor. Some of the rooms are incredibly sharp, taking nods from some of Paris’ finest designers of the past century.
Rooms are coming in at just under $200 a night.
