When it comes to solo travel, women have a lot to consider in terms of safety when visiting any unfamiliar destination and it can make planning a trip a daunting task.
As many as 24% of women have scrapped their travel plans due to safety concerns, but there’s good news for solo female travelers as WayAway, a travel website, has done the research for us. They analyzed over 200 cities to identify the top 30 safest destinations for women traveling alone by talking to locals, examining safety reports, and considering independent safety rankings to compile a list of safe destinations.
