The collab we never knew we needed: As of yesterday, Delta Air Lines and Starbucks have officially teamed up to help your caffeine habit pay for your next trip. By now, my iced vanilla chai orders could’ve earned me a flight to India for authentic chai, but better late than never!
Delta and Starbucks’ new partnership allows enrolled Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards members the chance to earn double rewards by linking their accounts, as well as further rewards for purchasing coffee and travel.
Starbucks Rewards and Delta SkyMiles members can link their accounts at deltastarbucks.com or starbucksdelta.com. Those who do so before December 31, 2022 will also earn 500 bonus Delta SkyMiles and 150 bonus Starbucks Stars after making a qualifying purchase with Starbucks.
US customers enrolled in both Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards can earn one mile with SkyMiles per eligible dollar spent on Starbucks purchases. In addition, customers who order at Starbucks on the day of their Delta flight will earn double Starbucks Rewards Stars.
SkyMiles members can already earn miles from Airbnb, Lyft and Instacart, so this is another great way to effortlessly rack up some extra miles.
