Great news for those who are looking to take an international adventure this year. Delta Air Lines is launching new nonstop and international flights that will help you make that possible.
New routes
The airline announced both new flights and increasing service on several international routes. The new routes include flights from:
New York’s JFK airport to Geneva, Switzerland
New York’s JFK airport to London Gatwick
LAX to Auckland, New Zealand
Atlanta International Airport to Nice, France (starting May 12)
More flight offerings
Delta already operates many international flights, but with international travel back in full force, the airline is increasing its daily flights from JFK to Paris and Rome. They are also restoring their JFK to Berlin route. Lastly, on April 16, the airline will also increase its service from Atlanta to Tel Aviv, making the flights a daily occurrence.
I’m especially excited about the LAX to New Zealand launching on October 28. The nonstop flight is the first of its kind and Delta will be the only airline offering the nonstop, long-haul route, which is about 14 hours long.
If that’s not enough to entice you, Delta has also been upgrading its terminals in both LAX and JFK. Expect new gates, updated terminals, and me sitting there waiting to board my flight to meet some sheep on the grassy, rolling hills of New Zealand.
