I like to live on the edge when it comes to going to the airport. I try to get there with just enough time not to stress out as I wait in the security line, but activate just enough Dad mode where I find myself feverishly gathering my belongings and heading to my gate to make sure it’s not a Platform 9 ¾ situation. I thought I had a lot of friends on my side, but then I realized they were skipping the majority of the airport altogether with something called JSX.
Semi-private jet service JSX allows you to travel efficiently between private terminals on spacious 30-seat jets. Arrive just 20 minutes before your flight takes off, and enjoy seamless, non-invasive security, planeside baggage retrieval, and complimentary gourmet snacks, beer, wine, and spirits in the skies.
Though routes are limited, especially in comparison to major air carriers, the JSX network is expanding quickly. The independent jet operator has just announced three seasonal routes: Dallas to Destin, Florida, Dallas to Crested Butte, Colorado, and Santa Ana, California to Monterey, California.
