With Wimbledon on the horizon, you know there’s going to be a surge in interest in hotels with tennis courts. There are countless tournaments every year, but the All England Lawn Tennis Club’s annual event sparks a passion for a racquet more than any other—whether it’s a long-lived passion or not is up to you.

But for many hotels with tennis courts, the sport is a year-round draw, worthy of investing in high-end facilities and even pros to help guests improve their skills. Throw in a luxury experience behind it, and you’ve got all the makings of an unbelievable stay.

To help you get to grips with tennis, we’ve found some of the best hotels with tennis courts you can book with points.

Best tennis hotels you can book with points: Hilton

Boulders Resort and Spa

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Price: $212+/ 57,000+ points
Vibe: Desert deuce
The rundown: What’s better than a solid game of tennis? A solid game of tennis with the breathtaking backdrop of the Sonoran Desert. The Boulders Resort and Spa has you covered, offering excellent tennis facilities (for golf and other sports, too) set amongst a stunning villa-based hotel and resort.

The hotel is part of Hilton’s Curio collection—independently managed hotels under the Hilton banner—and as such, can be booked using Hilton Honors points. Rates for a night start at around 57,000 points, rising far higher in peak season. As Hilton is a transfer partner for American Express, opening a card like the American Express® Gold Card could earn you more than enough points for a night.

La Quinta Resort

Location: Palm Springs, CA
Price: $190+/ 64,000+ points
Vibe: Baseline brilliance
The rundown: You won’t want to leave La Quinta Resort. This sublime property is a sprawling hacienda-styled resort, bursting with high-end amenities at every corner. Its location at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains is pretty epic, too, if you ever look up.

It’s regarded as one of the premier tennis hotels on the planet, boasting a number of USPTA-certified instructors if you’re just getting into the game or building on a base. Its sunken tennis court will make you feel like you’re on the center court, and if you’re there during the Indian Wells tournament, there’s even a free shuttle. As hotels with tennis courts go, this is the most well-rounded.

Best tennis hotels you can book with points: Hyatt

Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill

Location: London, UK
Price: $502+/ 21- 29,000 points
Vibe: Wimbledon basecamp
The rundown: The Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill, is a slight curveball, but we needed a strong property in London to serve as a base for anyone heading to Wimbledon now or in the future. As can be expected, space in London is low, so not a ton of properties have courts, but The Churchill gives guests access to the private tennis lawns in nearby Portman Square—and it’s stunning, too.

If you feel like grabbing the views from one of the balconies in The Churchill, such a room can be booked for just 21,000 points in the off-season. That’s because it’s part of the World of Hyatt loyalty program which uses an unbelievably generous award chart to assign rates to its properties. Even on peak days, it’ll only run at 29,000 points.

You can earn World of Hyatt points by opening the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card. Its bonus will be enough to grab you two nights in this stellar hotel.

Chase Sapphire Reserve®

60,000 Bonus Points

after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. That’s $900 toward travel when you redeem through Chase Travel℠.

Best tennis hotels you can book with points: Marriott

JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa

Location: Palm Springs, CA
Price: $251+/ 27,200+ points
Vibe: Desert drop shot
The rundown: We’re heading back to the desert for this amazing Marriott Bonvoy resort and one of the best hotels with tennis courts out there. For just 27,200 points you can book a room at the JW Marriott Desert Spring Resort and Spa.

While this definitely falls under the umbrella of hotels with tennis courts, in reality, it’s an adult playground in the desert. The golf, the gyms, the pools, the bars, the restaurants…the list goes on. It’s an undeniably cool resort, built for having fun. There are even waterways navigated by gondolas to take a ride on. Those 27,000 points can be earned easily by opening a card like The Platinum Card® from American Express.

Mauna Kea Resort

Photo: Tripadvisor

Location: Waimea, HI
Price: $800+/ 85,000+ points
Vibe: Five-star fitness fanatic
The rundown: Our first true five-star hotel on this list is the Mauna Kea Resort. Built to please with all the trimmings expected of a high-end Hawaiin resort—the beach, the pool, the service—it also features an outstanding tennis club. The courts themselves are close to the water, so be careful with your balls. But even after you get your second serve, nothing will cheer you up more than the ocean view.

As it’s a far more expensive hotel, running from around $800 in cash, you’ll need a few more points to book a night or two here. With rates starting at around 85,000 Bonvoy points and rising steadily with the cash price, you’ll need to grab a couple of big bonuses to get there.

Best tennis hotels you can book with points: All Accor

Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech

Location: Marrakech, Morocco
Price: $350+/ 17,500 + points
Vibe: Game. Set. Atlas Mountain Match
The rundown: You’ll need to be super focused on the baseline at the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech. If you catch a glimpse of the Atlas Mountains beyond the hotel, there’s a good chance your serve is going way out of bounds. This isn’t just one of the best hotels with tennis courts…it’s one of the best hotels in the world, period.

It’s a sprawling resort, covering well over 200 hectares of land about 20km outside of Marrakech. While you can make tennis a priority, the serene nature of the place will be a welcome respite for you after exploring the chaos of the nearby city. It’s part of the All Accor loyalty program, which uses a unique 2,000 points=40 euros setup, so whatever the cash rate is at the time, you’ll receive a discount based on how many points you use. A $350 cash rate would require just 17,500 points. Not bad at all.
