Delta rolls out free Wi-Fi.

Great news for anyone with a Delta flight next month: the airline is rolling out free in-flight Wi-Fi on most domestic flights beginning February 1.

This makes Delta the first major US carrier to offer free Wi-Fi (about time if you ask me). The new offering was sparked by their partnership with T-Mobile and Delta indicated plans to expand the service to international and regional flights in 2024 as well.

It’s more than free Wi-Fi

It’s not just free Wi-Fi that customers are getting. The airline is also rolling out Delta Sync in the springtime. The mobile platform will be an in-flight entertainment hub made in collaboration with well-known brands and will include Paramount+ for streaming, Resy for restaurant guides, and Wordle.

How can you access the free Wi-Fi?

You must be a Delta SkyMiles Loyalty member. Create a SkyMiles account — it’s free. Once onboard, simply log into your SkyMiles account and you’ll be able to get online.
