Banksy’s erased artwork gets new life in a museum.

Bansky is arguably the most controversial and illusive street artist in history. Simply viewing his work is as much a wild good chase as tracking him down, with his pieces spread around the globe — many of which have been covered up, knocked down, and stolen over the years.

Now, The Banksy Museum has made it easier to appreciate the art of the secretive street creator.

Brussels, Belgium, just introduced the World of Banksy — a permanent display boasting more than 130 recreations of the artist’s works both iconic and newly produced, including his recent work in Ukraine. The exhibition is set in an old fabric house in the city center.

What’s inside?

  • The museum will also recreate each work’s original settings, with recreations of the gardens, hotels, prisons, schools, and more that have served as the canvases for Banky’s critical depictions of society.

  • Visitors will also get to view and learn about some of the works by Banksy that have been erased or destroyed in their original form.
