Ritz Carlton steps into the superyacht game.

Ritz Carlton’s brand-new Superyacht is preparing to set sail on its maiden voyage this week after several years of disruptions delayed its arrival.

The yacht, christened Evrima, is pretty astounding to look at. Holding only 298 passengers and almost as many crew, it features high-ceilinged guest suites with outdoor sea view terraces and king-size beds, a kids club to drop the little ones, indoor and outdoor spas offering non-surgical lifts, and a restaurant led by a three-Michelin-starred chef.

Ritz Carlton is making it very clear that the experience isn’t designed to compete with cruise ships. They’ve created a floating Ritz designed to carry affluent customers to high-end destinations like St. Tropez, Ibiza, and St Barts.

At a minimum of around $1000 per person per night, and most sailings a week-long, a trip on Evrima might be a pipe dream for most of us, but there’s no denying it would be an experience to remember.
