If you’ve ever found yourself lamenting the lack of legroom or size of your airplane seat, now’s your time to speak up. As of today, the FAA is reviewing airplane seat sizes to determine if a minimum seat size needs to be established and they want to hear from you.
While most of us think of the problem in terms of comfort, the FAA has stated that air passenger safety, especially during an evacuation, is the driving force behind the review. The agency is also specifically asking for input from certain groups of flyers, including children, people over 60, and individuals with disabilities.
