We’ve all heard of the famed Orient Express train, but now get ready for the Orient Express superyacht. Sail the oceans blue on the lavish 722-foot Orient Express Silenseas yacht. The brand has long been known for its opulent take on travel and the yacht will be no different.
Sailing in style
The Silenseas will be the world’s largest sailing superyacht, but with a more exclusive capacity limit. It will only have 54 spacious suites and accommodate 120 passengers.
Routes that will go through the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
The yacht’s aesthetic will be inspired by the ocean liners of the 1800s and the same French architect, Maxime d’Angeac, who is working on the Orient Express train and Rome hotel, is overseeing the yacht’s interior design.
The public areas will include two swimming pools, restaurants, a recording studio, a speakeasy and oyster bar, a cabaret, and a spa, of course.
The superyacht is also being designed more sustainably and will use wind energy and liquefied natural gas instead of diesel fuel.
You’ll have to wait until the spring of 2026 to experience all the extravagance but reservations will go live in 2024. Luckily, if you’re into luxury travel, you can stay at an Orient Express hotel in Rome and Venice in 2024.
