In college, my one regret was not studying abroad due to being attached at the hip to my friends and fears fueled by the plotline of Taken. Armed with newfound wisdom and travel expertise, I wish I had grabbed the opportunity back then, but luckily, Sojrn, a modern study abroad experience for adults has new two-week microdoses of semesters abroad to live out my college dreams!
Since 2021, Sojrn has been providing adults the chance to participate in four-week study abroad programs. Recognizing people’s limited availability, Sojrn recently introduced a two-week immersion program for participants to enjoy the wonders of studying abroad in a more convenient timeframe. At Sojrn, every aspect of their programming revolves around the concept of slow, conscious travel, ensuring travelers have a genuine experience while also making a positive contribution to the visited destinations.
What do these two-week semesters look like?
With Sojrn’s new two-week microdoses of semesters abroad, travelers can experience a mental wellness program in Bali, Indonesia, a wine program in Tuscany, Italy, or a Spanish program in Medellin, Colombia. These accelerated itineraries cater to remote workers’ schedules, allowing for more free time to explore these destinations. Their existing four-week chapters also include Art & Architecture in Barcelona, Cuisine in Mexico City, Biodiversity in Cape Town, and History in Rome.
What is the cost of these programs?
Starting at $2,999 per person, their two-week trips include five to six activities, accommodations, and an instructor, and their four-week trips start at $4,699. Airfare is not included.
