Melissa McCarthy’s Booking.com campaign encourages travelers to book ‘somewhere, anywhere’

Actress and producer, Melissa McCarthy teamed up with Booking.com on a humorous Super Bowl commercial, “Somewhere, Anywhere” aiming to inspire travelers to experience more of the world and book with the online travel agency. 

In the commercial, a daydreaming McCarthy stars in a musical where she visits a variety of travel destinations around the world, capturing the attention of millions of viewers during the big game on February 12.

“This year’s Booking.yeah campaign aims to showcase that Booking.com is the most reliable platform to book a trip, no matter where travelers want to go, with features including instantly bookable vacation rentals, free cancellation on most bookings, verified reviews, great deals and more”, shared Arjan Dijk, Senior Vice President, and Chief Marketing Officer at Booking.com.

What’s in it for us? 

As part of the campaign, Booking.com is giving away half a million dollars to 50 lucky winners who enter their sweepstakes where each winner will receive $10,000 each in travel credits to visit some of the destinations seen in the “Somewhere, Anywhere” ad.

As stated in the press release, the rules to enter are: “Just follow @bookingcom on Instagram or TikTok and leave a comment on any Booking.com giveaway post noting the “Somewhere, Anywhere” you want to go using #ShareYourAnywhere along with #Sweepstakes to be entered.”

Travelers have from February 7 at 12 pm EST to February 19 at 11:59 pm EST to enter the contest. Winners will be chosen at random so may the odds be in your favor.
