Enrolling in TSA PreCheck just got a whole lot easier. Now, instead of driving all the way to the airport for an interview, you can just enroll in the program at a nearby parking lot.
The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) newly expanded IdentoGO mobile enrollment program has placed registration stations in lots across America, making it easier for people to access this expedited security benefit outside of airports and closer to their homes.
With these mobile enrollment stations, travelers will be able to complete the 10-minute interview process, stamp their fingerprints, and speak with customer service representatives to help answer any questions.
There are currently several IdentoGO mobile enrollment stations around the Northeast, Midwest, and West Coast. These RVs and trucks will pop up for 3-4 days at predetermined locations — most likely AAA office parking lots, stadiums, or shopping mall lots. To keep up-to-date with the locations of these stations, visit TSA’s Enrollment Center Locator or the IdentoGO website.
After locating your preferred station, the next steps are to complete the online application for TSA PreCheck before your visit. Appointments are not required but are recommended if you do not want to wait in line.
