Start planning your 2023 Euro trip now. Delta Air Lines just announced that it will be adding and resuming nine paused routes to Europe by next summer.
On top of their existing NYC routes, the airline is adding flights from LAX and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta airport, bringing their total amount of destinations across the pond to 32. The European expansion is welcome news since they initially cut flights during the summer travel chaos that overtook 2022.
The added services include connections between New York, London-Gatwick, and Geneva, resumed service to Berlin, and increased service to Rome. From Atlanta, Delta will be resuming flights to Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, and Stuttgart. Flights from LA will include Paris and London Heathrow.
Delta is not stopping with Europe, however. Earlier this year they also announced that they will be offering many new routes including direct flights from Atlanta to Cape Town, LA and Tahiti, Atlanta to Tel Aviv, and more flights to Tokyo
