New low-cost airline Breeze Airways is continuing its rapid expansion, adding 15 routes to 15 cities across the US for as low as $39.
The Utah-based carrier now offers up a total of 99 nonstop routes that serve Hartford, Phoenix, Charleston, Orlando, and Vegas, to name a few. The airline, which was recently named one of the best domestic airlines in the US, offers three price tiers: “Nice,” “Nicer,” and “Nicest.”
In addition to the price, some of the most exciting perks with Breeze are their economy seat sizes — which offer an impressive 30-31 inch seat pitch — or the fact that they don’t charge cancellation fees up until 15 minutes before departure.
But Breeze isn’t the only regional airline offering up great deals.
Fellow new kid on the block Avelo Airlines just announced a return to Wilmington, Delaware and is celebrating with $49 one-way flights. The move adds 5 new Florida destinations to their route map, bringing their nonstop offerings to over 30 airports across the nation. New destinations served from Wilmington will include Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, Tampa, and West Palm Beach.
Sounds like it’s time to plan that weekend getaway. Maybe you can even splurge on the “Nicest” section and live large on a budget.
