After last summer’s epic #revengetravel movement that had what felt like the entire world dancing at a beach club in Mykonos, it comes as no surprise that airlines are prepping for just as much travel next season.
On Friday, American Airlines unveiled its summer 2023 plans, which include additional flights on four of the brand’s most popular long-haul routes:
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).
DFW to Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO).
Miami International Airport (MIA) to Heathrow Airport (LHR).
MIA to Sao Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport (GRU).
The expanded service will begin in April 2023, with American tapping its largest hub, DFW, to take advantage of the influx of US-based travelers seeking out destinations like Paris and Rome in a post-pandemic world.
The carrier will also provide additional flights from another one of its busiest hubs, MIA, to London. The move offers even more connections to cities in Europe and worldwide by way of its airline partner British Airways.
