Fashionistas worldwide can start priming themselves for the ultimate getaway: Louis Vuitton’s first-ever hotel. Amazingly, it’s going to be built inside their Paris HQ. The project is a token piece of a far grander plan devised by LV’s parent company, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, to rejuvenate a commercial district in Paris’ 2nd Arrondissement.
A sprawling mega-store featuring the largest LV store in the world
While details are still vague regarding the designs, the high-end brand’s CEO has already said he will be giving up his Paris-panoramic-view office for the project, giving a hint of the type of suites that could be expected in the long run.
If details are correct, as well as the hotel itself, the site will also host the largest LV store in the world, a cafe and chocolate shop headed up by Maxime Frederic, and an array of other luxury experiences.
You’ll have to wait a while
While reports suggest it could be five years before the hotel is opened, the longer-term vision could take as long as 15 years. What that means for the space is unclear. LVMH also owns the Cheval Blanc, located just across the road, another extremely high-end hotel.
Whatever the result, it’s almost guaranteed to be a success – regardless of the price.
