To me, traveling is synonymous with trying new things, including all the food that comes with different cities and countries. Though I wouldn’t consider myself a “cruise girl” per se, I think I could be persuaded by one that comes with cuisine from top chefs.
Set sail on a Holland America Line “Culinary Cruise”
Holland America Line has extended one of its popular cruise concepts into 2023. The line’s “Culinary Cruise” allows passengers to sharpen their cooking skills via some of the world’s most famous chefs. The gastronomy-focused voyages offer a versatile experience involving everything from experiences with a renowned chocolatier and the world’s foremost sushi master.
Expect live cooking demos and exclusive dinners
I’d like to consider myself a great cook, but there’s nothing more humbling than learning from the masters themselves. Each of Holland America Line’s Culinary Cruises entails live cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs, with recipes each participant can take home. Gain further knowledge from the pros themselves with a chef-centric coffee meet-up, and reservation-only dinners.
Where the Culinary Cruises will set sail this year
Beginning in February, and lasting through July, the foodie cruises will voyage to dream destinations like the “The Koningsdam” with chef Ethan Stowell. Happening February 18 – March 25, 2023, the 35-day trip will venture to Hawaii, Tahiti, and Marquesas roundtrip from San Diego, California. Check out the full schedule here.
