2022’s top Airbnb hosts in each state

Airbnb has released its top hosts in all 50 states and it’s been a good year for them. New Airbnb hosts earned $1.5 billion between January and September 2022. 

To qualify as a top host for 2022, people had to be new to hosting and have their first and only listing established in 2022, have the most check-ins in their state, and have achieved Superhost status. 

Of the top 50 hosts, 64% were women and 52% had listings in urban areas versus rural ones. 

Some of the standout top listings include:

• A chic and cozy tiny lodge in Seattle, Washington

• This stunning treehouse yurt in the heart of Texas

• A castle loft nestled in Minnesota

• An original 1880 cabin in Colorado

• This modern studio in Smyrna, Georgia
