Singapore is the diamond in the Southeast Asian crown. Masterfully developed, technologically advanced, and staggeringly beautiful, the unique city-state draws millions of visitors every year.

But there’s no denying it’s an expensive place to visit. The price of hotels in Singapore is just one of the reasons so many people limit their stay to two or three days, forgoing some of its best attractions.

We’re here to tell you that there are hotels in Singapore for every budget—you might just have to do some digging and be flexible.

To help out, here are some of the best hotels in Singapore at every price point.

High-end luxury

Marina Bay Sands

Location: Marina Bay Harbor
Price: $580+

The rundown: In with a strong claim as one of the most recognizable hotels on the planet, Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Casino represents modern Singapore in a way few other properties. Spectacular without the gaudiness; luxurious without the pretension; epic without the gimmicks.

If there’s a big splurge you make, it should be here. Once you’re staring out from the world’s highest infinity pool, the price point will fade into a distant memory.

Raffles Hotel

Location: Beach Road
Price: $950+
Vibe: Classic colonial luxury
The rundown: If Marina Bay Sands is the future, Raffles Hotel is the rose-tinted, nostalgic past. One of the world’s most famous historic hotels, its reputation goes well beyond the Singapore Sling.

Recently renovated while retaining its colonial splendor, there’s never been a better time to sample one of the greatest hotels in Singapore. Its named for the British founder of the city, and blatantly strives to conjure old world mystique. Rooms are expansive, food is sublime, and the service is immaculate.

Location: Little India
Price: From 30,000 points a night
Vibe: Free stay; amazing location
The rundown: If you subscribe to our travel hacking newsletter, Smart Points, you might be building a strong bank of travel currencies. If you’ve got an Amex card, or have built up your Hilton Honors points, the Hilton Garden Inn Singapore could represent a free stay for you.

Excellently positioned in Little India, rooms start at 30,000 points a night. 120,000 Hilton Honors points are enough to stay here for five nights using Hilton’s bonus fifth-night incentive. With Amex transferring points to Hilton at a 1:2 rate, you’d only need 60,000 Amex points. That’s a big deal.

Andaz Singapore

Location: Kampong Glam
Price: 20,000 Hyatt points a night
Vibe: Culture-rich affordable luxury
The rundown: Andaz’s picture-perfect spot in the exciting Kampong Glam neighborhood is worth paying cash for. But with Hyatt’s points system, you can bag free nights for as little as 20,000 points.

You could open a Hyatt co-branded card, but the easiest option is the Chase Sapphire Reserve or its less premium sibling the Preferred. As Chase transfers to Hyatt at 1:1, the intro bonus alone is enough to get you three free nights. Not bad for one of the coolest hotels in Singapore.

Mid-range marauders

The Warehouse

It’s the perfect call for a family with kids who maybe aren’t quite confident enough to tackle Southeast Asian cuisine, or someone who wants a slightly longer stay without dropping to a hostel-style hotel. Check out the harbor views from that pool, too.
